Mental health professional achieved a breakthrough in just 2 sessions from 40+ years of skin picking.
Previous attempts with various therapeutic approaches, including hypnotherapy, had proven unsuccessful.
Accomplished the goal of completely stopping the behaviour for the first time and concurrently resolved relationship issues, forming new meaningful connections in a short timeframe.
A transformative experience beyond merely stopping or reducing skin picking, hair pulling or nail biting…
My approach to addressing these behaviours focuses on helping clients explore and understand the underlying unconscious drivers contributing to their pulling or picking. By tackling these hidden causes, clients can work towards reducing or stopping the behaviours without relying on techniques like keeping their hands busy or trying to use will power to fight the urge itself.
A “breakthrough” occurs when clients develop a deeper understanding of their behaviour's unconscious triggers, allowing them to address these at their source.
While I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, I am committed to working diligently and collaboratively with clients to support them in achieving their personal goals. Clients are encouraged to put in effort and commitment to apply the insights they gain during the process, which may feel more achievable than solely battling overwhelming urges.
